The Fritscher family arrived in Minnesota in 1876.  Over the next few years they and their cousins and extended families lived mainly in several southwestern Minnesota counties:  Nobles, Jackson and Murray.  Click on the "Minnesota button" to view land records I have found so far in these counties.

The Fritscher family moved to Texas in the early 1890's.  Joseph and his family moved first, followed by Johann and his family.  They settled in and around Denton County, Texas.  Later on, in the 1920's, the children of John and Joseph began to expand into other Texas counties and finally to Oklahoma.
